When you unfold a geometric figure with similar recurring shapes, it may be difficult to see what edges connect.
In this case, use Show Join Number to show adjacent edges to be pasted.

And since you can compare the edges on the development and 3D model, you can easily check the place in the 3D model that corresponds to a particular point of a development.
